About SHUT DOWN ROMFORD
Shut Down Romford is a volunteer campaign of dedicated activists working together to close the last greyhound track in London.
We are part of Shut Down Campaigns, a network of volunteers working to close England’s remaining dog tracks, one by one.
HOW WE WORK
Peaceful and non-violent action. We hold demonstrations outside Romford on race nights, at Entain’s London offices, and at the betting shops funding it all. We leaflet, we talk to people, and we put pressure on the companies who profit.
WHO WE ARE
Volunteers. No staff, no office. People who found out London still has a dog track and decided to do something about it.
You do not need any experience. You do not need to have been to a protest before. Come to one, stand with us for an hour, take some leaflets home. That is genuinely all it takes to start.
